About Maire
I have been teaching in the public and private sector for over 15 years. As your professor, I will challenge you to question the known to retrieve full understanding in order for you to apply your knowledge. Outstanding grades, though achievable, are not what sets us apart from the crowd. It is, rather, how you can impart that which you know in order to better the community with which you live.

I have known Maire for many years and have had the pleasure of sitting in on some of her classes. I have never seen someone so passionate about her students and subject matter all at the same time. She quickly engages everyone and you can feel the energy change in the room almost immediately. History was never my favorite subject, but she made the topics interesting and relatable even when I felt no connection to that time period at all.

Hello! Let me just say, I appreciate your interest in jamming with me.
I do have an attendance policy that states, "If for any reason you cannot make it to our scheduled jam session, you are required to give me a 24 hour notice via email. Otherwise, you will be required to pay for our time regardless of your presence." And, yes, I will do the same for you! Life happens, and it is crucial we communicate with one another.
