About Tom
During my time at Arsenal in London I was involved in various projects, coached hundreds of players, and was educated by some of the best coach educators in football. I had the honor of coaching at London Colney (Arsenal's training center) and mixing with the stars of the club. Due to my impressive work in London, Arsenal decided to send me out to Hong Kong where they have academies across the island. I was responsible for designing training programs, coaching in the academies, and educating coaches. I attained my UEFA B license in 2022. I have coached academy and professional players across the globe. This experience has provided me with the skill set to improve players of all ages and abilities in order to surpass their expectations and to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. I have coached with Liverpool FC since 2022 with their Foundation and International Academy. I am currently in Melbourne, Australia working for the Liverpool FC International Academy

1-2-1 training is an excellent way to help build self-confidence and enables children to learn at a speed specific to their needs. Unlike being coached as part of a team, focus is placed on one individual and allows the player to practice skills and techniques, while having a coach on hand to provide instant feedback and information to improve every shot, cross, or pass. After consultation with parents and players, we form an understanding of exactly what they are looking to achieve from 1-2-1 coaching. We then tailor the coaching plan around the player's needs. Whether they need to improve their techniques such as passing, shooting, heading, ball mastery, defending, or dribbling or their physical attributes such as speed, agility, coordination, and strength. A coaching plan will be created which will allow the player to work on both technique and physical attributes simultaneously.
