About Emily

I am a science teacher with a PGCE and QTS. I have taught at a range of schools and abilities. Prior to qualifying as a teacher I tutored A-level and GCSE students.
I have a first honours degree in Biology from Royal Holloway University however love to teach Chemistry and Physics too.
My favourite lessons to teach are of course practical lessons, with my favourite practicals being dissections of any kind. Though tutoring here is online, I endeavour to make all sessions interactive and engaging with ranges of demonstrations and guided work.
If I am not talking about the world of science, then you will find me SCUBA diving, running or climbing mountains in my spare time.
I am passionate about supporting students to achieve success in their exams and hope that you choose me to guide you on that journey.
