About Estelle
I am a singing tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I have worked with over 200 students across Musical Theatre, Pop, Classical, Rock, and Jazz vocal styles. My lessons focus on breath support, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal health, and building genuine stage confidence. I am passionate about helping every student find and develop their unique vocal identity. My approach combines technical precision with creative freedom so students develop both strong skill and genuine artistic self-expression. I use recording software, ear training tools, and backing tracks to keep lessons dynamic and progress clearly visible. My singing lessons develop vocal technique, expression, and performance confidence in a genuinely safe and supportive environment throughout every session. Every lesson opens with a structured comprehensive warm-up covering breathing exercises, lip trills, resonance scales, and graduated pitch work appropriate to the student's current level and voice type. I spend dedicated time at the beginning of our work together assessing vocal range, tone quality, and existing technical habits so that every lesson is immediately targeted, relevant, and productive for that specific student. Breathing technique and breath management are the central focus of my early teaching because strong breath support fundamentally transforms every other aspect of singing including tone, pitch, stamina, and artistic expression. Pitch accuracy and intonation are developed through progressive ear training exercises, interval recognition work, and melodic challenges using both piano reference and digital tools. Pop and Contemporary students learn stylistic vocal delivery, vocal riffs and runs, microphone technique, and how to express authentic emotion through their singing. Classical students develop proper resonance placement, supported tone, correct diction, posture, and the specific technical demands of formal examination or concert performance. I record all significant performance run-throughs so students can hear their own vocal development objectively and we can together identify the specific areas that need focused attention. Performance coaching covers stage presence, body language, emotional connection to lyrics, and managing performance nerves constructively. My goal is for every student to feel genuinely free and confident whenever they sing.
