About Sophia
I hold a Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature and have been teaching Spanish for over six years to students of various ages and backgrounds. My academic training, combined with real-world teaching experience, allows me to provide a well-rounded and effective approach to language instruction. I am passionate about helping learners not only master the language but also connect with the rich cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners who want to build a strong foundation, as well as advanced students aiming to refine their fluency and prepare for exams or travel. I believe that language learning should be personalized, so I adapt my lessons to fit each student’s unique goals, interests, and learning style. This flexibility helps my students stay motivated and achieve meaningful progress. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to practice and take risks. I emphasize practical communication skills alongside grammar and vocabulary, ensuring students can use Spanish comfortably in everyday situations.
