About Shravani
I am a dedicated piano teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, which has given me a strong foundation in music and technique. My teaching philosophy centres on active participation and understanding the musical intent behind every piece. I believe in nurturing well-rounded musicianship by combining history, theory, technique, and creativity in every lesson. I adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s unique needs and goals. My teaching approach focuses on developing strong keyboard technique while making lessons enjoyable and engaging. I emphasise ear training to help students recognise notes, chords, and rhythms by listening. Performance skills are also important, so I prepare learners to play confidently in front of others. Applying music theory alongside practice helps students understand how music works and improves their overall musicianship. I tailor lessons to support both advanced young learners and adult hobbyists, ensuring everyone progresses at their own pace. For younger students with natural talent, I focus on challenging pieces and refining technique carefully. For adult learners, I make sure lessons are fun and relevant, encouraging steady improvement without pressure. I use a mix of traditional exercises and creative activities to keep learning dynamic. Regular practice and positive feedback help build confidence and motivation. My goal is to help every student develop a love for piano and reach their personal best.
