About Aaron
I'm a skater and surfer living in Florida. I got into skating many years ago when I got a skateboard for Christmas. Just learning how to push around was so fun and I really got hooked after learning how to shuv-it. It took me months to finally land it. I had to figure out what I was doing wrong without the help of someone which is what inspired me to be a coach in the first place. I love skating transition, flat ground, and rails. I also have physical therapy knowledge from a bad ankle roll I had. If you're struggling with an injury or want to strengthen these areas I have many different exercises for that. Skating has brought a lot of joy to me and I hope it will to you as well!

A typical lesson would consist of a video call where we go through what trick you need help on and problems your facing with it. That's where I'll explain why it isn't working as well as steps you can take to fix it. A kickflip for example, maybe you're having a hard time getting both feet back onto the board after the rotation. We'd work on keeping your body and shoulders aligned as well as jumping with both feet after the flick. The most common problem is immediately either putting the front or back foot on the ground which can be solved with practice steps. Our calls could just be talking through these things or sending me videos/showing me on our call.
