About Zade
I’m a singing tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice. I’m passionate about the art of ear training, harmony, and melody, and I truly believe in the transformative power of music. My teaching spans a variety of styles, including classical, pop, jazz, blues, and movie singing, allowing each student to explore the genres they love most. I focus on vocal training, sight singing, performance techniques, and theory to help students build a strong foundation and grow in confidence. I’ve had the pleasure of working with school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals, tailoring each lesson to individual needs and goals. I love guiding students through improvisation and composition, helping them unlock their own musical creativity. Music history and music technology also play key roles in my teaching, offering a deeper understanding of both tradition and innovation. Lessons are always supportive, structured, and engaging. This voice lessons methodology is designed to support learners with strong musical backgrounds, such as Suzuki-trained students and orchestra members. For Suzuki-style learners, the focus is on imitation, ear training, and musical phrasing. Breathing techniques are taught through playful rhythm and movement, helping them connect breath to phrasing naturally. Orchestra members benefit from a more structured approach, linking their instrumental knowledge to vocal tone, dynamics, and articulation. Both groups work on vocal health routines like proper warm-ups, hydration habits, and gentle cool-downs to protect their voices. Pitch training is done through solfège, matching tones to instruments, and using apps like Vocal Pitch Monitor and Tenuto. Performance skills are developed through repetition, mirror work, and practice recordings. Suzuki students thrive through storytelling and expressive singing, while ensemble-based learners refine emotional delivery through group dynamics and phrasing. Each lesson encourages confidence and self-awareness. By combining classical training with personalised vocal development, this approach helps students sing with both technique and heart.
