About Rue
I am a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience, specializing in studio-ready vocal training. My BM in Choral Conducting with a vocal emphasis equips me to guide singers of all ages, from students to emerging professionals, toward commercial-quality recordings.
I help artists navigate modern styles such as R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music. Lessons focus on key studio skills: microphone technique, vocal compression, harmonies, and auto-tune awareness. I also teach students how to communicate effectively with producers and bring songs to life.
My teaching philosophy combines technique, artistry, and confidence. Each lesson is designed to strengthen your voice, develop studio presence, and cultivate a unique, recordable sound. Together, we make your vocal performance shine in every recording.

My teaching approach develops singers who thrive in ensemble settings. I focus on vocal blending, part-singing, sight-reading, and choral techniques. Students learn to listen to others and adjust their voices for a balanced group sound.
I guide The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist in integrating their voices smoothly into choirs. Lessons include exercises in harmonizing, dynamics, and group awareness. Students gain confidence in their ability to contribute musically.
Through interactive group exercises and repertoire practice, singers strengthen their ensemble skills. I emphasize teamwork, attentive listening, and musical collaboration. Students leave lessons feeling prepared and valued in any group performance.
