I take music quite seriously, but I also have fun with it. I make sure the students I teach understand how to play and feel the joy that comes from learning and playing music. There are very few things more satisfying than playing music.

I began playing music when was 8 years old; writing at 11. I have played my original music live on the radio, as well as having recorded songs get air time. I have played on stage with Weezer at Madison Square Garden in September of 2008. I write in several different styles of music ; ranging from pre-WWII music to classic rock n’ roll to 90’s punk. I began teaching guitar privately in 2009 from my home and plan each lesson by going over the notes on the neck of guitar and bass, how to form and play chords and going over different chord progressions, and timing.
