About Sandra
I'm a Toronto-based independent musician and the front person for the dream pop band fuzz petal. Drawing on my experience with live shows and open mics, alongside a BA in English from Toronto Metropolitan University, I love telling stories across diverse platforms—from music and research essays to comic books and video games. I am also trained in basic guitar maintenance and am deeply passionate about fostering creativity and promoting authenticity within the music scene.

Hello, I'm Sandra! I've been playing the guitar for eight years and writing songs for even longer. With a Bachelor of Arts in English from Toronto Metropolitan University, I have experience telling stories across various platforms from comic books to video games, and now music. Songwriting is more than just fun; it’s a creative way for individuals to express their thoughts and emotions while helping to develop literacy and language skills. I attended Sandra's song writing session for children at Long&McQuade music store. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. They both enjoyed the session so much. They enjoyed playing with the variety of instruments that was laid out for them to explore. The song writing experience was fun. She was so good at making lyrics, creating a melody....she really has a sharp ear for music! I would recommend everyone to have a session with her because you can really learn a lot through her.
Sandra is incredibly patient. She has a big heart and loves music so much that she's encouraged me to keep playing the guitar even with my frustration. She has a great taste in music and has a great deal of knowledge of guitars and sound equipment.
