There is so much I could say about Claudia. She was my first singing teacher when I was only sixteen years old, and much of what I know today, how I warm up, what I believe, and the foundation of my technique, I learned from her.
Claudia possesses one of the most important qualities of a truly great teacher: curiosity. She is endlessly searching, learning, and exploring new ways to understand her students and help them grow. Her dedication to improving her teaching and adapting to each student’s needs is remarkable.
I feel extremely lucky that she was there at the beginning of my journey, guiding me vocally and preparing me for future auditions. She was always honest, kind, realistic, firm, and loving. Because of her guidance, I was accepted into the Maastricht Music Conservatory, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in music, and later became a full-time performer with the Latvian National Opera in Riga, Latvia.
I am deeply grateful to Claudia, and I can say with complete confidence that she has so much to offer. Anyone would be fortunate to have her as a teacher.
