About Sarmistha
Hello, I am Sarmistha Dasgupta. I did Visharad(B.mus) from Bhatkhande Sangeet vidyapith, Lucknow. I am classical trained from the very childhood from a renowned guru who helped me to understand n develope my own skill and creativity in singing.
I performed and also won many prizes in different musical functions and competitions in both local and state level till date which gave me experiences from different mentors n tutors with whom i came through.
I am here to share all of my knowledge and experiences which i believe can help my students excel in singing in any genre you name...
I also did Masters in Psychology which helps me to understand my student's psychology which i think is very important in teaching

I start from the very basic like voice coaching, aalaps and alankars and gradually move on higher as per my student's progress.

Perfect! I recently had the pleasure of taking music lessons with Ms. sarmistha, and I can honestly say she is an amazing teacher. She is incredibly knowledgeable about music theory, and she has a great way of breaking down complex concepts and making them easier to understand. She is also very patient and encouraging, and she is always willing to answer any questions that I have. I highly recommend her as a music teacher to anyone looking to learn music.

Sarmistha is an excellent teacher. Her way of teaching is so simple and lucid yet firm. Along with a melodious voice, her attention to minute details of notes makes her stand apart from other teacher . She really took my son to next level of music with powerful motivated teaching method. No doubt she is the best online music teacher I have found till date.
