Sheena - Sanderstead - ESOL (English)

From the first time we met Sheena she put us all at ease. My son looked forward to his sessions with her and the change we saw in him was fantastic.
He entered the Trinity 10plus exam with this extra confidence and focus. He went in in with a big smile on his face and come out with an even bigger grin. We were thrilled to hear he had passed and have no doubt that Sheena played a significant part in this.  

I always wanted to learn to read and write English. When I came to England , I was busy taking care of my children. Now I have time to concentrate on myself. Natasha has made me feel very confident to speak English and now I can fill out forms at work. She is like a friend. My literacy is much better now. Thanks to Natasha

Sheena has worked miracles with my 9 year old daughter who was sitting the 11plus. She had problems being able to write stories and understand comprehensions.Sheena very quickly identified what my daughter needed most help with and was soon giving her tips on how toaapproach texts. I couldn't believe it when after just one term my daughters teacher said to me " whatever you're doing , keep it up !" My daughters work was used as an example in class and we were ecstatic when she passed the 11plus

Natasha helped me to pass my QTS literacy in order to practice as a teacher. Being a 2nd language speaker , Natasha taught me the building blocks of the language , like Prepositions , that I had no idea about using. Although she taught me to the test , Natasha encouraged me to spend some time learning general English , which made a big difference to my speaking skills as well as my writing.
I've got no hesitation in recommending Natasha , she enabled me to achieve and I am so happy.

Sheena is a caring and effective tutor. My son loved his sessions with her. He did sessions in English and maths and managed to score in the top 5% for his English when sitting his 10+ entrance exams.

I was frustrated at the lack of progress in IELTS exam. I needed 7.5 minimum to register as a doctor and start my career. Unfortunately I got only 7 in writing which is the most difficult part of the exam. I felt I had no hope to get 7.5 . Natasha saved my life. She read all my essays and guided me. She is a wonderful teacher who has excellent knowledge and fabulous teaching skills. With her help and support I achieved 8, even better than what I wanted. She is encouraging, knowledgable and patient.

In 2 terms , my daughter has changed from a child anxious about her ability in English, to now being a school example. Natasha managed to get her so interested & teach her strategies that improved her writing rapidly. She went on to pass her Grammar school tests , placing in the top 180 for Bexley & Nonsuch & Wallington.
I couldn't be happier with Natasha's teaching !

My son was going to a popular group 11plus tuition in Sutton & being taught by Grammar school teachers, yet still couldn't write creatively well enough. After just 2 sessions with Natasha , he was given a format which he could follow & understand how to develop ideas. Natasha encouraged my son so much that he always looked forward to her sessions & I'm pleased to say he got a place at Reigate Grammar.

My son was struggling with creative writing & comprehension until he met Natasha. She encouraged him & he soon loved going to her lessons. The change came when he wrote a story that even his yr 9 brother at grammar school was impressed by. I couldn't believe he had written it ! I can't thank her enough. we got a place at Wallington county for Sept 2015 & are over the moon !

Leona was going to a group tuition but doing badly in English. Natasha taught her so well, she loved going to her classes every week. We also took her maths class which was a good brush up.
Leona got into Nonsuch for 2015.
