About Siddhanta
I have been playing the instrument and doing stage shows for over 10 years now. Started learning at the age of 11. Trained under Pdt. Nirmal Mondal and Pdt. Nilanjan Sen Gupta of Delhi Gharana and Pdt. Nityananda of Farukhabad Gharana. Have been teaching young kids for the past 3 years and am willing to expand the sphere to share my knowledge and learn from you as well.

I believe in giving 100000% attention and more than 90% of the time to the basics and fundamentals of the instrument because once done with it, it's not a difficult road after that. Apart from that I try to merge the instrument with other genres of music as well to enhance its beauty and introduce diverse styles of playing in the student's mindset. And of course.... Since "practice makes a man Perfect".... I ensure that my student is having qualitative practice and not quantitative one.

Perfect! Sid has an infectious passion for the tabla. He provides clear explanations, attending to the needs of the student with absolute involvement. From the beginning he offers a historical context to the instrument and an open-minded approach to the possibilities of different genres. Here's to a long and fruitful teacher-student collaboration .

Siddhanta (Chinu Bhaiya, as he is fondly addressed by his students) taught Tabla to my 5-year old son for a year and I must share he is fabulous - a natural musician, friendly towards the kids and very flexible with schedules...
My son misses Chinu bhaiya’s classes ever since he has moved to the UK.
Best wishes on your onward journey, ...may you spread your musical beats around...Sidhant initiated tabla lessons for my son. He is very friendly and my son really enjoys learning tabla from him. The most interesting way he teaches is he never insist on mugging up, always encourage new creative lessons by student only. Thanks sidhant
