About Sona
I’m a dedicated Spanish tutor with over three years of experience and a BA in Spanish, specializing in Creative Writing and Translation. My teaching focuses on helping expatriates and digital nomads successfully adapt to life in Spanish-speaking countries. I work closely with Conversationalist and Immigrant/Newcomer learners, helping them build confidence and fluency for real-world communication. Lessons are designed to balance practical language skills with cultural exploration, allowing students to practice speaking and listening while connecting with authentic experiences. Whether discussing festival traditions or breaking down the meaning behind a popular song, students develop vocabulary and comprehension that they can use in everyday life as well as in social and cultural settings.
Each session emphasizes active participation, encouraging students to listen, speak, and interact as much as possible. My lessons are fun, motivating, and structured to support steady progress without losing the joy of learning.
