About Louise
I am a native Mandarin speaker from China, currently living in London, UK. As a bilingual educator and avid traveller, I help students not only learn the language but also gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, customs, and modern trends. I believe that learning a language should be both engaging and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on building confidence through conversational practice and offering customised lessons tailored to your goals, whether for travel, business, or exams (e.g., HSK). I also aim to reduce learning anxiety by creating a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I will guide you step by step with patience and encouragement. Let’s unlock the beauty of the Chinese language together!

Hello! I am Louise. With over five years of experience teaching Mandarin and English to students of various ages and backgrounds, I am keen to adjust my teaching strategies to inspire students. As a French and Korean learner, I believe the purpose of acquiring a language is to communicate and comprehend the cultures behind the language. In my lessons, we can learn Mandarin through a cultural lens, incorporating regional customs, food, poems, dialects…You will discover the authentic daily expressions and get motivated to speak up more!
