About Tejas
Tejas is an automobile engineer turned Music producer working in advertisements and a session guitarist from Mumbai and Chennai. He is a graduate from Dr. A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory in Chennai and has been playing the instrument professionally for over 3 years now. Tejas has studied Hindustani Music and Tabla for 6 years from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai. He has studied Classical Guitar under Matt Bacon U.S (Faculty at KM), Music Composition under James Bunch (PhD in Composition and Music and a Faculty at KM); furthermore he has also studied world music history under Anupam Roy (PhD in Music, Oxford, U.K) Tejas has also completed his credits in Musical Theater under Robert Wilkinson (Canada) as he believes inspiration comes from all directions in the field of arts. He plans to explore his career in different styles of technique, genres and film music in coming years.

Tejas is an alumni of Dr. A.R.Rahman's KM College of Music and Technology aka KM Music Conservatory in Chennai and has a Diploma in Classical Guitar and Composition.
He is a session guitarist for over three years and has produced jingles for Amway, Johnson and Johnson, etc. in advertisements. His area of expertise is Blues, Rock, Funk, Classical, etc
Following is the understanding of his approach to guitar learning.
Fundamentals of Music Theory :-
Understanding of Pitch,
Key Signatures,
Scales,
Time feel/Rhythm,
Modes
Study of Genre.
Guitar Performance :-
Chords,
Scales,
Modes,
Fluency & techniques,
Interpretation and Analysis of any graded pieces(depending on students)
AND I also teach Bollywood music ;)
2x45min Sessions per week OR 8 classes per month.
