About Paul
I'm a Sesame (Street) Workshop trained puppeteer, pro puppeteer and puppet builder of over 35 years. I am the creator and lead puppeteer of the former nationally syndicated children's TV puppet series, "Jelly Bean Jungle". I was a puppeteer in the movie, "Team America: World Police", and have trained puppeteers in several TV and Video productions, including theater productions of "Hand To God, Nunsense, Avenue Q", and more! In addition, I am the co-author and lead puppeteer of the former Off-Broadway musical comedy, "Real Men (Sing Showtunes and Play With Puppets)". Throughout my career, I've taught live puppetry workshops to students of all ages, and now I'm bringing them directly to you, privately and ONE ON ONE!

As a professional puppeteer of over 35 years, I teach hand and rod puppet manipulation techniques for aspiring and experienced puppeteers of ALL AGES.
YOU'LL LEARN:

7. Arm Rod Techniques
8. Theater vs. TV/Film Puppeteer Techniques (There's a difference)
You'll learn all of this and more, while working with pro hand and rod puppets, like the ones you see on TV& Film!
What sets me apart from other teachers on this platform, is that I was actually taught by the lead puppeteers from Sesame Street, The Muppets, and The Jim Henson Company. My teachers are Matt Vogel (Kermit, The Count, Big Bird), Peter Lintz (Ernie, Walter), Martin P. Robinson (Telly, Snuffleupagus) & Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Prairie Dawn & Original Cast of Avenue Q). I've also launched the careers of Henson & Sesame Street puppeteers, Donna Kimball & Bradley Freeman, Jr. !
Aside from puppeteer techniques, I'll also mentor you on the business side of becoming a puppeteer and what you need to do in order to be a professional puppeteer for Theater, TV & Film.
