About Makayla
As a passionate nursing tutor and BSN student at the University of Rhode Island, I bring a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, and patient-centered care. With hands on clinical experience in hospitals such as Westerly and Women & Infants, and current work as a Pharmacy Technician & Student Nurse, I combine real-world nursing knowledge with a dedication to helping future nurses succeed. My tutoring approach mirrors the rigor and depth of the NCLEX and nursing program exams. I specialize in simplifying complex topics like pathophysiology, pharmacology, and patient care into clear, practical lessons that stick.
