About Kenna

I am a senior at the University of Arizona studying Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and college due to dedication and effective studying strategies. My goal is to help each student gain confidence and enjoy learning so they can go on to achieve whatever dreams they may have. I promise to match your effort in the process and show up every day ready to give it my all and treat you with respect and kindness.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring:
I believe in breaking down complicated math and science concepts into small, manageable steps. I teach by demonstration, working through problems together step by step, and using real-world examples to make ideas click.

Typical lesson plan:
We’ll start by outlining key learning outcomes and reviewing questions or homework. Then, we’ll work through practice problems together, focusing on strategies and step-by-step methods. Finally, I’ll guide students as they solve problems independently to build confidence and mastery.

What Sets Me Apart:
As a neuroscience student, I understand how the brain learns best. I design lessons to be fun, efficient, and personalized to each student’s learning style. I also emphasize study techniques that support long-term retention, not just quick fixes.
