About Callum
I am a Fourth Year History student at the University of St Andrews. I specialise in late-mediaeval England but have taken classes spanning the Roman Empire to the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe, so have a diverse interest in history generally. My love of history has allowed me to have some really interesting experiences such as living in France to study at Sciences Po in Strasbourg and presenting research papers at conferences. Aside from history, I love music - I play piano professionally and have appeared in shows and concerts for over ten years.

Our lessons will focus on whatever will be most beneficial for exam preparation. I have extensive experience preparing students for source-based questions, essay writing, dissertations and extended projects, and helping develop knowledge recall. Lessons, usually over the course of an hour, will combine written tasks and discussion to achieve the goals set before the session. I teach all topics of the Scottish and English curricula for A-Level, GCSE, National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher.
