Instead of simply providing answers, I use a questioning technique to help students think critically and solve problems independently, much like I've done in my career. My key techniques include: Case Studies: I create and use simplified case studies based on my professional experience to illustrate concepts like supply chain optimization or strategic sourcing. For example, we could look at how my team navigated supply chain disruptions from 2020-2022 to understand risk management in a real context. Problem-Solving Workshops: Lessons are structured around solving specific problems, whether they're from a textbook or a scenario I've created. This active learning approach builds confidence and a deeper understanding of the material. Concept Mapping: I help students visualize the connections between different topics using diagrams and flowcharts, making complex systems like a circular supply chain much easier to grasp. A Typical Lesson Plan A typical lesson would be structured as follows: Review (10 min): A quick recap of the previous lesson and any assigned work. Theory & Application (30 min): I introduce a new topic, explaining the core concepts. We then immediately dive into a practical example or case study to apply what we've learned. Collaborative Problem-Solving (15 min): We work together on a problem, with me providing guidance rather than direct solutions. Independent Practice & Q&A (5 min): The student attempts a similar problem independently while I'm available to answer questions. Wrap-up (5 min): We summarize the key takeaways and I provide a preview of the next lesson.
