As a watercolor artist and instructor, I employ a hands-on approach that blends demonstration, step-by-step instruction, and encouragement of experimentation. I believe in providing a solid foundation in fundamental techniques such as washes, glazing, wet-on-wet, and dry brush while also encouraging students to explore their own creative expressions. I emphasize observation skills, guiding students to closely observe their subject matter and translate what they see onto paper. Visual aids, constructive feedback, and a supportive learning environment are integral parts of my teaching methodology.
The typical length of my watercolor lessons varies depending on the complexity of the subject matter and the needs of the students. However, a standard lesson usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This duration allows sufficient time for demonstration, practice, feedback, and discussion while also ensuring that students do not feel overwhelmed or fatigued.
I bring extensive experience and expertise to my role as a watercolor tutor. With 8 of experience as a professional watercolor artist, I have honed my skills through practice, experimentation, and continuous learning.
My watercolor lessons are designed to accommodate students of all levels, from absolute beginners to more experienced artists looking to refine their skills. I welcome students of all ages, from children to adults, who are passionate about learning and exploring the medium of watercolor. Whether you're a novice seeking to learn the basics or an experienced painter looking to expand your repertoire, my lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs and aspirations.

Aneeqa is a great painter and watercolor artist, and she is amazing in teaching it as well. Her techniques are super easy for beginners and she is quite patient and supportive to her students. I highly recommend her as best teacher for your painting, drawing and watercolor art lessons.
