About Tarishi
Hi, my name is Tarishi. I’m a Year 10 student at a fully selective high school, and I’ve always had a passion for learning and helping others succeed. Having gone through the selective school preparation process myself, I understand how challenging it can be—and I want to make it easier for other students by sharing the strategies and skills that worked for me. I started tutoring family friends and quickly realized how much I enjoy teaching. Seeing students grow in confidence and improve their results is incredibly rewarding. That’s why I’m committed to helping students prepare for the selective test and strengthen their math skills up to Year 8.

I’m a Year 10 student who gained entry into a fully selective high school and have since been tutoring family friends preparing for the selective school exam, as well as students needing support in mathematics up to Year 8. My lessons are designed to build strong foundations, improve problem-solving skills, and boost confidence through clear explanations and consistent practice. I tailor my teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style, using a mix of worked examples, targeted exercises, and exam-style questions. Lessons typically run for 60 to 90 minutes and are ideal for primary students preparing for selective school placement or those needing help with maths from Years 2 to 8.
