About Emma
I am Miss Emma Gostling.
I am a science teacher and came in to teaching to pass on my knowledge to future generations.
I hated school and learning, I found it boring!
My aim is to make learning fun and interesting.
I came in to teaching late in life after I had a near fatal car accident - it was only then That I realised I wanted to share my knowledge To make the doctors and nurses of tomorrow.
I know that learning doesn’t come naturally for a lot of people and that’s ok . I look to comfort and encouragepeople to challenge themselves and not give up.

I take time to get to know my students and use this relationship to help my students build a relationship with The subject they are learning. I make learning fun and entertaining.
I enjoy my subject and this shows through the lessons.
I differentiate the lesson to the student in front of me using tailored examples.

Emma is a fantastic teacher who genuinely cares about every individual student. ‘Individual’ being the key word - Emma treats all students as the unique person that they are. Her science knowledge is extensive, and has real world experience as an NHS Microbiologist. Her lessons are fun and interesting and will get you thinking!
