About Holly
Hi, I’m Holly, a qualified secondary school Sociology teacher with a degree in Sociology and a real passion for helping students achieve their potential. I love teaching because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and realise they are capable of more than they thought. Sociology is a fascinating subject that helps us understand the world around us, and I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students enjoy learning and feel confident walking into their GCSE exams.

Whether you’re aiming to move from a grade 4 to a 6, or pushing for the top grades, I’ll tailor every lesson to your individual needs.
What I offer:
* One-to-one online or in person GCSE Sociology tuition
* Clear explanations of key theories and concepts
* Exam technique and structured answer practice
* Revision planning and support before exams
* A patient, supportive teaching style that builds confidence
As a current classroom teacher and GCSE examiner, I know exactly what exam boards are looking for and the common mistakes students make. My lessons are interactive, well-structured, and designed to make Sociology interesting and easy to understand.
If you’re looking for a tutor who is approachable, encouraging, and genuinely wants you to succeed, I’d love to help.
