About Gurleen
My name is Gurleen Pannu. I am currently a university student, studying at the University of Toronto. With several years of experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the subject and can explain complex concepts in simple terms.
As a tutor, I know it's important to make my students feel comfortable and supported so they can ask questions and learn better. I am patient and kind, and I want to help my students feel more confident and enjoy math.
In addition to my interest in school, my hobbies include going to the gym or being involved in sports. Whether on the field or in the gym, I value the importance of hard work and discipline. I believe these same principles can be applied to academic success as well.
Overall, I can provide excellent academic support to my students, as well as build great connections.

My techniques in teaching involve doing multiple practice problems and reviewing them step by step. I will go in depth of every problem and give alternative ways to solve a problem. I believe when it comes to math, practice makes all the difference. It allows a student to see what works best for them.
A typical lesson plan involves going over the basic concepts covered in the relative chapter and then doing practice problems to gain better understanding. Also, helping in their daily homework.
Since I am a university student, the relative mathematical concepts are constantly being used in my individuals studies, hence I have clear, fresh knowledge of the information.
The lessons will be provided to middle school students (6-8) and high school students (9-10).
