About Floyd
My name is Floyd Xolani Phomudi, I am currently 23 years old. I matriculated in Lavela Secondary School (and got second place among top three achievers in my school) with a Bachelor's Degree in 2016. I got accepted to study pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at UJ in 2020. I am a disciplined student and an entrepreneur. I decided to be a tutor to be one of the helping hands in bettering other learners' studies in my community. I believe education is the perfect building block to a determined individual in the academic sector.

I have a precise method with tutoring that best accommodates any learner based on their learning pace. Less pressure and special attention to each and every one of my past and current learners is proof that I have indeed found a way to elevate any student's studies. For example, if a learner has more interest in soccer. I use his/her interest to link it with their studies to better form a more precise and well-developed common ground.

Floyd is very good at problem-solving, he helped me improve my marks in mathematics. With each lesson we had, he made sure I understood everything thoroughly. Because of him, I was able to achieve great marks in mathematics.
Floyd is one dedicated person who is very passionate about numbers and how they work. He had good people’s skills and know-how to understand individuals. So I’ll recommend him because, with his greatest skill with people and great understanding of numbers and mathematics, he will work better with everything overall.
I feel like he was born for numbers. Very articulate, patient and easy-going on people making it very easy for recipients to understand. I have first-hand experience, still using the learning structure he taught me to date. Highly recommend. Oh, he’s my former private tutor btw if I haven’t mentioned.
