About Abishek
Having attended tutoring lessons myself, I understand the impact and difference of having extra lessons outside school hours can be extremely beneficial to students. I have previously taught close relatives, who attained A* and A grades at GCSE level in both Biology and Mathematics.

My lessons will be based on the specific area of a subject that the student may need help with. From there, I will simplify the concept that the student may otherwise find difficult (whether that be Mathematical algebra or transpiration in biology). However, it is important to note that the tutoring will alter based on the subject. For example, I tend to utilise fast- paced drills, which is useful for subjects such as Biology, as it involves a significant degree of memory work. I believe it is important to ensure that students do not tune out and lose interest in what I'm teaching. It is fundamental to allow my student's voices to be heard more than my own, which I will do by asking them to summarise an idea that I have just espoused. Hence, a critical aspect of my teaching is to make it enjoyable for my student. I aim to do this after teaching a particular topic by testing my student's understanding through additional problems and games.
