About Damian
I am a student at University who wants to help others and enjoys teaching. I am personable and patient and have found over the years that I like educating and helping others. I am happy to work at anyone's pace and conform to my students' needs. I play sports and music so can also connect with my students using anecdotes and illustrations from outside the classroom, such as using a sports analogy to explain physics. With all my students I have created a great rapport that enabled us to communicate freely and efficiently, and it has always felt like I've gotten to know my students well during our lessons, allowing me to better teach and connect with them.

my lessons take place on an online whiteboard so the student and I can work together. My method of teaching is to work through questions with my students to determine the areas they need to work on. Then we move on to covering that specific content, with explanations and more questions to consolidate the information. I don't give homework but work my students hard in lessons. The lessons will be for an hour. For the past 2 years, I have been working as an online tutor, so I have a lot of experience. My students have been at GCSE level and below and all of them improved in class. Many achieved great grades at their end of terms and GCSEs. My lessons are for any high school or A-level student who is struggling or wants some more help with either maths or physics.

Damian tutored my step-daughter through her Maths GCSE and helped her achieve a higher grade than predicted, and is now tutoring my daughter.
