About Laiba
As a third-year medical student, my passion for teaching ignited during my gap year, guiding students through 11+ exams. Since then, I've expanded my repertoire to cover various subjects up to A-level. I find immense joy in fostering student growth, helping them achieve their goals, and building meaningful connections. My aim is to inspire and support each learner's journey. I have taught multiple students studying Chemistry A Level and GCSE all whom have achieved grades no less than an A. As well as coaching students within the STEM subjects I have undertaken UCAT coaching and organised group UCAT preparation days for my students. One of my students in the 2024 application cycle achieved a high score of 3150, with others also achieving extremely high impressive scores within the top 2 deciles. Another aspect of the medical application I really enjoy coaching for are the medical interviews. I ensure to have very interactive organised sessions where I host mock MMI's for the students as well as ensuring I provide them with very detailed feedback. The response to my sessions has been extremely positive as students have felt they have improved and gone on to achieve multiple offers from universities.

I tailor my approach to each student's unique needs, fostering an interactive learning environment. We explore content, tackle exam questions, and analyse mark schemes together to ensure students are aware of what points they need to make to gain those marks. I prioritise student feedback, adapting my methods to ensure their satisfaction and optimal exam preparation. My student-led style aims for both knowledge acquisition and exam success.
