About Nina
I've not done private/ paid tutoring before, just casual lessons for family friends and neighbours in biology/ chemistry. I didn't do VCE, but I was part of the British system and did Cambridge International O Levels and A levels before starting uni. For A Levels (the closest equivalent to VCE), i took Biology, Chemistry, Maths and English Literature.

I was a student teacher at my dance school for around 3 years and enjoy students taking initiative to understand what they may be doing wrong; encouraging them to figure things out for themselves before providing my input. This is something I've applied to educational tutoring too; I nudge students into making their own educational guesses first before helping them see a pattern or giving them an anagram/ memory tool that could be used to remember what they've learned.
