About Mary
I’m Mary John-Alob, a second year medical student at Hull York Medical School. I love singing, dancing and doing anything handy e.g knitting, crotchet and baking . I enjoy learning new things especially anything medical or fascinating. I have 3 younger sisters so I have a substantial experience working with younger people. I love tutoring because without it I wouldn’t be where I am right now, I struggled with learning as a young child and having a tutor who understood me and was able to teach me in a way that I could comprehend really made a huge difference so I would love to do the same to others

My approach to teaching is using interactive methods to ensure that the students are very much engaged in their learning. My approach would also improve independence in order to facilitate the learning of the students. Learning doesn’t always have to be boring, I plan on using different techniques to bring learning to life and allow it to be practical so it’s easier to comprehend and remember
