About Emma
I am a second year Economics student at the University of Waterloo, with a strong math background, and 4 years of tutoring experience.
As a student who required a tutor in the first half of high school I recognize the value of one, as it enabled me to excel and find interest in math. Although I may not be able to inspire every person I tutor, I hope to make the subject manageable and bearable.

I typically teach using inquisitive learning, that is asking guiding questions and applying concepts to real world problems. My lessons normally follow the " I do, we do, you do" method, I find it is best to help find where misunderstanding are. However, the way content is delivered can change depending on what a student needs.
My lessons are for students in math classes ranging from Grade 6 to Grade 12
