About Numair
I’m a second-year Dental Surgery student with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Dentistry wasn’t my first successful application cycle, so I took a gap year, reflected, improved my application and gained valuable experience while continuing to develop academically and professionally. I achieved strong GCSE results with multiple A/A* grades and completed my A Levels with 3 As in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Alongside my studies, I worked at Kumon (Nov 2024–Sept 2025) supporting younger students with Maths and English and have been providing private tuition for around 3 years, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and supporting students with UCAT preparation. I focus on adapting my teaching to each student’s level, building confidence, and making learning clear, enjoyable and achievable.

I plan every lesson carefully to make sure each session is effective, engaging and tailored to the student’s needs. Lessons include clear explanations, exam questions, worked examples and exam technique to build both understanding and confidence. I also create structured notes throughout the lesson using my iPad, so students leave with a personalised resource they can revise from afterwards. I adapt my teaching style to suit every student’s level, breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and building knowledge from the basics upwards. My aim is not only to improve grades, but to make learning feel easier, more enjoyable and more achievable.
