About Lilly
Hi, I'm Lilly, I am an Undergraduate Biology Student at Swansea University, so I'd like to think that I have a lot of knowledge to pass on to the next generation of science lovers! I believe that the key to enjoying science is confidence and understanding, two things that I once didn't have myself, and it was through tutoring that I found a love for the subject, so I know how important it is for students to be able to access sessions suited to them. Every small achievement is a celebration. I will create a safe, friendly, online learning environment with no pressure. I want to inspire students and help them achieve. I have never tutored before, however I love helping others. I am currently a Volunteer Play Worker working with children aged 5 to 12 who have Additional Needs, and I really enjoy what I do. Having ADHD means that I am understanding of each student having a different way of learning. In the first free session will be about getting to know the student, how they learn, their goals and what they want to achieve. The things they find easy, the things they find hard and about them themselves. From here, I plan sessions based around the student and will teach in a way which works best for them, using different presentation styles and encouraging as many questions as possible.
