About Sam
I have always had a love for mathematics and physics. I absolutely love tutoring in this subject area, as I love the satisfaction of helping other people and sharing my love of subjects I'm passionate about.
I finished my first year of engineering with an overall GPA of 7.6/9, which is between an A- and A average. As this demonstrates, I have a high aptitude for mathematics and physics.

In my experience, the best way to learn is by doing. I run my lessons by focussing on specific concepts that the student is struggling with by working through relevant problems and providing help where needed. I also provide consolidation questions on content that the student already understands to solidify what they already know via repetition and potentially reveal any gaps in their knowledge that need to be addressed.
My teaching style is supportive and comprehensive, as I have been told that I am good at breaking larger problems into smaller, bite-sized pieces that are easy to understand.
The typical length of a lesson is 1hr.
