About Saiprabhu

Previously I was at Wilson's Grammar School, which is one of the leading grammar schools in the UK. Whilst I was there, I was able to achieve all Grade 9's for my GCSEs and A*s at A Level. I am now a Second Year BA Architecture student at the University of Kent. Whilst being a part of this amazing course, I also love to teach my students during this. My reasoning for wanting to teach stemmed from watching my younger sibling go through school. I was able to learn all the content fine myself, but when he reached that stage, he struggled. There were no tutors who were able to help properly, as none of them properly checked on him and made the lessons directed to him. Since I was able to understand what help he needed by observing his work, I worked with him and essentially tutored him. By the time he did his GCSEs, he achieved all 9's on his Sciences (which was a great achievement considering he was predicted 3's and 4's). From this success, I branched out and started teaching other students with similar storylines. They had no real help so I stepped in, and together we took their low predicted grades up to Grade 8's and 9's. My only satisfaction is seeing my students progress and achieve those high grades they deserve.

About the lesson

All of my lessons are tailored directly to my students to make sure they reap the benefits of it. Once I understand their ability, I make sure that I take the student along the right path to get the best grades. This is all done via weekly 90-minute lessons online. This gives a plentiful amount of time to go through the content and do some past paper questions. Having been a tutor for 5 years and not coming out of the education system too long ago, I can relate to the students very well and understand their wants and needs. I teach GCSE Triple/Double Sciences, as well as A-Level Physics, all of which are subjects I thoroughly enjoy so I will pass on my enthusiasm to those I teach.

I have had Saiprabhu for 2 years during my GCSEs. During this experience I have improved drastically in all my sciences. He gives you his own notes as well which is a massive help so I can return to them later during my revision. Frequently, we have had tests with hard practice questions which help a lot with exam technique and he also gives many tips that even teachers could not provide. Finally, he is always available to speak to on the phone whether to further help us or to support us in things much bigger than just academics which I believe makes him a very good tutor. Overall, I highly recommend him as he will give you critical advice in all your subjects. He knows his topics to a high level and is very well-organised too.
