About Ira

As a GMAT Prep tutor, I emphasise a structured approach to cover all sections of the GMAT exam, including quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, analytical writing, and integrated reasoning. Understanding these sections comprehensively is crucial for achieving success in the GMAT. I employ various teaching methods, including practice tests, targeted drills, and comprehensive study plans, tailored to different learning styles. This ensures that students grasp GMAT concepts effectively and efficiently.

Acknowledging the significance of practical application, I provide real GMAT-style questions and guide students through timed practice sessions that mimic the exam environment. These experiences enable students to familiarise themselves with the GMAT format and question types. - I emphasise the relevance of effective time management and test-taking strategies. I teach students how to approach different question types, manage time effectively during the exam, and employ strategic guessing when necessary.

Effective communication is key in my tutoring sessions. I create an open and collaborative environment where students feel encouraged to discuss challenging GMAT concepts, ask questions, and explore different approaches to problem-solving.

About the lesson

Foundational Understanding: I focus on building a strong foundation in GMAT sections—verbal, quantitative, integrated reasoning, and analytical writing—ensuring students understand question formats and strategies. Interactive Learning Tools: I use practice tests, official GMAT questions, and interactive platforms to engage students, helping them familiarise themselves with the GMAT format and pacing. Strategy Development: I emphasise test-taking strategies, time management, and effective approaches to tackle various question types, focusing on both accuracy and speed.

Real GMAT Scenarios: I simulate real GMAT conditions in practice sessions to acclimatise students to the exam environment, boosting their confidence and reducing test anxiety. Progress Tracking: I conduct regular mock exams and assessments, reviewing performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas needing improvement.
