As a dedicated Japanese language teacher and linguistics graduate student, I'm committed to helping my students achieve their language-learning goals in a supportive, engaging, and effective learning environment. With years of experience teaching Japanese language and linguistics to students of all ages and backgrounds, I bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm to each lesson.
My passion for Japanese language and culture began during my own language-learning journey, which took me from the United States to Japan and back again. Along the way, I gained a deep appreciation for the nuances of the language and its cultural context, as well as an understanding of the challenges and joys of language learning.
As a teacher, I draw on this experience to create a learning environment that is both rigorous and supportive, challenging and engaging and I continually seek out opportunities to learn and grow as a teacher and as a learner.
