I prioritize logic building before diving into coding. For instance, when teaching Dynamic Programming, instead of immediately coding a n x n matrix, I begin by demonstrating recursion on the problem. Then, I guide students through modifying recursion to memoization and eventually implementing Dynamic Programming with a simple code tweak.
