About Vincent

Training in screenwriting and script-doctoring. Over 10 years of script consulting, over 20 years in writing, 8 films produced, 5 European languages spoken. Perfect mastery of classical dramatic rules, but with great flexibility for bold forms of writing and expression. Excellent global cinematic culture and strong communication skills. Looking for surprises, too...

About the lesson

Learning patience, making screenwriters understand that having a good idea is not enough—it must also be structured and presented convincingly. Breaking away from the solitude of writing and accepting a critical, constructive, and positive perspective on a dramatic project. Avoiding traps and clichés (or breaking out of them to make them come alive), deconstructing a narrative to rebuild it, avoiding the easy way out, and addressing the difficult question of thematic relevance and the author's unique voice.
