About Rafael
I graduated in Advertising, and in 2015 I took the Filmmaking course at Operahaus, where I worked as assistant director and gaffer on two short-films, and I had my first screenplay produced, "Die Flagge". Working for ad companies, I shot and edited several corporate films. In 2017, I wrote and directed "The Ironic Process", a short fiction film, and at the end of the year I joined the INC Advanced Screenwriting class and I'm currently writing my first feature film.

My method is based on the works of John Truby and Robert McKee, whose books helped define modern cinema; combined with the interactive analysis of important independent films, so to understand what film language really is, and how to use it to achieve your artistic goals. The purpose of these classes is to get to know the tools of filmmaking, and start using them, even with a zero budget.
