In my lessons, I employ a hands-on and interactive approach. We don't just learn about coding; we create. Through guided projects and creative challenges, your child will explore the world of coding in a fun and engaging way. I believe that learning should be an adventure, and that's exactly what we'll have!
A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up: Quick and fun coding exercises to get those creative juices flowing.
Concept Introduction: We'll dive into a new coding concept each session, breaking it down into bite-sized, easy-to-understand pieces.
Project Time: The bulk of our lesson is spent applying what we've learned. Your child will work on a project, be it an animated story, an interactive game, or a personalized creation.
Show and Tell: We wrap up each lesson by sharing our creations. This not only boosts confidence but also fosters a sense of community.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor?
Tailored Learning: I understand that every child is unique. Lessons are adapted to your child's pace and interests, ensuring an enjoyable and effective learning experience.
Creativity-Focused: Coding is not just about syntax; it's a tool for creativity. I emphasize unleashing imagination through coding projects.
Progress Tracking: As a tutor, I provide regular updates on your child's progress. You're involved every step of the way.
Who Are These Lessons For?
These lessons are designed for children aged 5-9, from beginners to those with some Scratch experience. Whether your child is taking their first steps into the coding world or looking to enhance their skills, my lessons provide a solid foundation.
