About Annette
Hi! My name is Annette! I'm a pre-service teacher in Queensland. That means that I am at University learning how to be a teacher. When I'm not at University, I work in a school as a teacher's aide or in the science prep rooms making practical lessons for science classes.
Before I started working in a school, I graduated from University with a Bachelor of Science. I used to work in a university laboratory and teach university students how to do experiments.
When I'm not at school or University - I like painting miniature models and playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Tutor qualifications: I am a pre-service teacher and teacher aide/science technician working in a school. I understand what school is like and can help design an approach that works for you.
Teaching Methodology: In my lessons, I use the gradual release of responsibility pedagogy. We'll start with explicit instruction, we'll go over problems and examples together, and then you'll get a chance to work on your own but I'll be ready to help! This will give you the confidence to work on your own and tackle questions in an exam!
The typical length of a lesson: my lessons go for 50 minutes
My lessons are for students in high school, from year 7 to year 12.
