About Kiley
Kiley is a full-time master’s student at Georgetown University who has significant experience in tutoring at the university level. It is her goal to help the student feel more confident by the end of each session and cultivate skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving, that allow the student to become a successful independent learner. As someone who is still pursuing her own education, she greatly respects the investment a student makes in their education by participating in tutoring sessions.

Kiley specializes in middle school, high school, and college-level natural science and math courses, including algebra, biology, introductory chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, genetics, biochemistry, human anatomy, physiology, and MCAT prep. She also has experience in subjects such as cancer biology and biophysics for biochemistry for students who are interested in niche biological topics. Kiley worked as a peer tutor for Virginia Tech and has gained experience in adapting to each student’s unique learning style and finding study methods that are most comfortable for them. It is her goal to help each student build the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to become an independent and successful learner. Kiley spent a semester abroad researching the differences in health education curricula and classroom delivery between Italy and the U.S. From this experience, she gained perspective into what types of student-teacher interactions provoke curiosity in students and help them build personal and lasting connections with the material. Kiley graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Chemistry. She will complete her master’s degree in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University in August 2022 and plans to pursue a career in medicine.
