About Harley

I have been an educator in various capacities for over 7 years. What started as a teaching assistantship in graduate school has blossomed into a career and a passion for sharing science with others. Helping students gain confidence and new skills is something that makes the work worth it!

About the lesson

-I primarily use a Socratic Method, asking inquisitive questions of my students to
-I try to fit my teaching style to what I notice works best with students. Drawing diagrams for visual learners, using analogies for verbal/linguistic learners, and offering lots of supplemental materials
-A typical lesson will involve a spaced-repetition method: new content or material, collaborative practice problems, and finally individual practice problems. And repeat!
-Lessons are primarily for HS and undergraduate level sciences in any of the following areas: Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Environmental Sciences
