About Stuart
I have a background in academia working as a medical statistician in psychopharmacology and sleep research, as well as an ongoing role lecturing in statistical methods for MSc nutrition and nutritional medicine students. My doctoral thesis involved using Bayesian analysis on modern and ancient DNA samples to infer historical population dynamics of various species.

I have been tutoring since 2005. In that time I have tutored hundreds of students studying science and mathematics GCSEs and A-levels.
I take a calm and understanding approach with an overall structure that ensures the success of the student. I am well practiced at preparing students for exams and am used to helping students identify their problem areas.
I take pride in my ability to inspire my students to not just do well but to actually enjoy and find interest in the subjects they are studying. In many cases, this has opened up the possibility of new career paths.
