About Swarna Sekhar
I am a school-experienced teacher with two year of classroom teaching experience in English (Language and Literature) and Social Science, working with students from Classes 6 to 12. I have taught in a structured school environment and understand curriculum requirements, assessment patterns, and the academic expectations placed on students.
My teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, clear understanding, and exam-ready performance. I work closely with students to improve reading comprehension, writing clarity, grammar, and subject understanding, while also helping them develop confidence and consistency in their academic work. Lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and adapted to the student’s current level.
In English, I support students with grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, answer writing, and literature analysis. For senior classes, I emphasise structured responses, textual understanding, and critical thinking, helping students approach literature with clarity rather than memorisation. In Social Science, I teach History, Geography, and Political Science with a focus on concept clarity, timelines, maps, and exam-relevant answers.
Alongside subject teaching, I provide academic guidance for school students, including support with projects, assignments, and applications. This involves helping students plan their work, structure essays, improve language and presentation, and revise drafts through detailed feedback. I guide students to produce their own work with confidence and academic integrity.
